The Winter Haunting
The Winter Haunting was made for a character animation class were classmates formed small production groups to produce their own short animated films. During the production of this animated film, I served as director and made many of the environment assets, both character models, and rigs. I animated the latter third of the film, starting with the long shot of the protagonist running through the forest.
The production goal was mostly to create an animation with suspense and tension while working together to further develop our skills. There is a moral to this animation as well. This short serves as a warning to stick to one's path even when obstacles present themselves, for taking shortcuts can lead to disastrous consequences.
